Myrtle Beach Area Virtual Tour

Add Brookgreen Gardens to your list of "must see" places along the Grand Strand. It is North America's most renowned sculpture garden, set in botanical splendor with over 2,000 species of plants, and a 23 acre wildlife park. Once a flourishing rice plantation and now a National Historic Landmark, it boasts more than 500 American sculpture classics set among live oaks, flower-bordered walkways and ponds.

There are several public boat ramps along the Grand Strand, including in North Myrtle Beach/Little River, under the bridge at Highway 9 on the Intracoastal Waterway. This area is also home to the Myrtle Beach Yacht Club at Coquina Harbor (in Little River), Harborgate Marina, Crickett Cove Marina, and Vereen's Marina in North Myrtle Beach.
